Yoga Tuesday

(A quiet moment amongst the flowers)
Good morning, everyone! Welcome back to yoga class. Today will be mostly meditation and stretching. We will not be doing any deep breathing, as the air quality is still somewhat icky.

OK everyone, lets all begin to purr deeply and in unison. Tune into the purring growing through the ether, and send peaceful, positive thoughts to all those who are in need.

Stretch.........hold the positions as long as you can, then relax.

Excellent!

For snacks today, we are having some traditional Mexican dishes in honor of our friends in Tijuana, who sent their firefighters over the border to help us fight the wildfires. Whatever the pet humans think about illegal immigration, we can still be appreciative for the help.

Dear Skittles,
I'd like to invite you to join us on Friday, in San Francisco, for the Road Trip's day here. I know that it has been so stressful down in San Diego this past week, maybe getting away wound be a good idea. We could have a relaxing yoga session if you'd be kind enough to lead us.

We feel so relaxed - those stretching exercises feel so good. We're thinking about sweet Miss Peach and hoping that she has the strength to eat some more - maybe some of those wonderful snacks you've provided.

My, everything looks delicious. But it's probably too spicey for my delicate stomach, so I'll probably just have a little tuna water to cool down after all those stretches.
