As I promised, I have many photos of our feline friends in the African country of Morocco.
First, let's visit the well preserved medieval city of Fez. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and for good reason! The Medina (market place) has changed very little from the early days, around 808 c.e.
But some parts are very modern! Here are photos from the Menzeh Zalag Hotel in Fez, a very lovely and cosmopolitan establishment. I am proud to tell you that a very handsome and well mannered feline holds a very important position here.
I present to you the Chief Maitre D of the Menzeh Zalag Hotel. I am very impressed by his formal black attire!

Now let's go back briefly to the wild gardens of Chellah, just outside the Royal Palace in the capitol city of Rabat. Here we have a herd of cats (yes! a herd!) guarding the entrance to the sacred Roman pools. (also pictured is Hicham, our very capable tour guide!)
Something VERY EXCITING must be happening in the sacred pools, because everyone is fascinated, even the chicken!
Next week we will visit the medieval Medina of Fez. This market place is so old, they still deliver all the goods and products by donkeys. Over 7000 donkeys service this Medina, including 400, which are owned by Coca Cola!
Luv,
Skittles, The Huntress
P.S. The War continues on Wednesday!!!!!

But stop long enough for a happy holiday season.
What an interesting place! I wish I could visit there. But I might want to play with that chicken.
Merry Christmas Skittles.
That's very interesting, Skittles! It's like Rome, Italy, where cats are everywhere, inside and out, and the whole community cares for them!
Hope you and your beans are having a Meowy Christmas Eve!
