Wordy Wednesday

THIS IS A POLITICAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Should Hillary drop out?
NO!!
Of course I am running against McCain and whomever wins the Democratic nomination. And of course, I will beat everyone to take over the White House. So why would I encourage Hillary to stay in?

Heaven forbid the first woman candidate for POTUS should turn out to be a quitter.

I may disagree with her politics, but if she sees it through to the convention, even if she still loses the party nomination, I will respect her for her tenacity.

Good luck, Hillary. Hang in there for all us girls.

Luv,
Skittles, The Huntress

Well my dear, Let's just say I have something in the works. But it will have to wait until my Mom comes back to let me use the computer. I loved your yoga and plants yesterday! You are so beautiful!

Wasn't there a day when the candidate was chosen at the convention? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly...it just seems like there was a time when we didn't know who the candidate was going to be until after the convention. Am I remembering wrongly?

mommy says Irishcoda is right - every primay vote counted right up until the convention. if the candidates are chosen before the pimaries are over, then the power of the vote is not in everyone's hands, it's in the hands of the few states that vote early. and that is very wrong.

Dear Irishcoda and Meezers,

I think you are right. It used to be decided at the conventions. Not by a few big states voting early.
