Flower Friday

(Still no sighting of Sammy........see below)

This is a special edition of Flower Friday. I went to the flower show at the Del Mar Fair. I love the flower show, because I get to see all the unusual varieties of flowers that I never see at Walter Anderson Nursery.

But first: The Latest In Deep Fried Fair Food:

No, not the Oreos. Look closer.....yes, the sign IS correct! Krispy Kreme donuts, sliced in half, stuffed with chicken, dipped in batter, then deep fried. What kinda catnip was the inventor of this heart stopping weird delectation snorting?

Onward to the flowers. Here are blue ribbon winning Dahlias from the Del Mar Fair.

Please continue to send purrs and prayers for Sam, The Marmalade Cat. Hopefully he's just on summer vacation.
Luv,
Skittles, The Huntress

The flowers are quite lovely, Skittles! Mom says that chicken sandwich sounds like a shortcut to a heart attack.

What gorgeous flowers!

I am purring that Sam is safe - I have my paws crossed that he just went on a brief walk-about and will come home soon.

C'mon Sam, go home!

The Krispy Kreme thing sounds like it's a little too much for me.

Mum says the flowers are purrty. The people she bought this house from was really into dalhia's. Mum prefers less worries of putting things in and out every season, so she goes with perennials.

Hmmmm, the food. 1 tummy ache 2 pass the pepto 3 where is the cholestrol drug!

Purrs for my ginger bud Sam too.
