Flower Friday

(no politics today!)

I've been very worried about Sam, The Marmalade Cat recently. I haven't seen him for quite a while, and SlyCat wants to be friends with him. So I went out to my garden to see if I could find him. No luck!
Instead, here are some photos from my garden for Flower Friday.
I hope Sammy comes back. I've been thinking....why do I have to choose between two mancats?

In the middle east, some cultures allowed men to have many women in a harem. I think I want to start collecting men and call it a share-him. Har!

Skittles ... Gorgeous flowers.

Thanks for bein' worried 'bout us, but we don't live in North County, we live in the South Bay near to Otay Mesa ... We're fine an' nowhere near Camp Pendleton.

We hope that the surf's up in Point Loma an' that you're watching for gray whales!

I hope Sam comes back, too.
He's a handsome Ginger dood.

I like the Share-Him idea!

Those are some beautiful flowers!

I think a Share-him is a great idea, Skittles!

Lovely flowers as always. Ours will be going away soon.

Cats need not be confined by human 'rules' on mates, friends etc. Do what makes you happy Skittles.

My Dear Skittles, I'm very confused by this idea of the Share-him. (Although it is a clever name!) I'm not sure if I like the idea though. I don't mean to be a selfish cat, but I can think of some problems that might occur if you were involved with both of us. You may not be as available for date nights. What if one of us starts to feel left out? Oh dear, this is very concerning. Would this also mean that I could see other lady cats? Not that I would necessarily want to, but I'm just wondering the rules here. I hope you're doing well and I'm sad that Sam hasn't been around lately. Hope you have beautiful weekend!

I've been enjoying your political side, Skittles. Would love to vote for you. Just might! But are you over 35, and are you an American citizen? I wouldn't want my vote disqualified.

Dear Kirby Olson,

Thank you for visiting my blog, although my pet human knows you as the Lutheran Surrealist.

In fact, I am 5 1/2 years old in people years, which makes me 36 in cat years.

And I was born on American soil, on a naval base in California. So I am a citizen.

I'm so glad I can count on your vote!!!!
